Red Raven All-American Tylor Perry Signs Deal With the Toronto Raptors

Coffeyville, Kan. - Red Raven All-American Tylor Perry has his foot in the proverbial NBA door.  Perry, who led the Red Ravens to the 2021 NJCAA Men's Basketball National Championship, has realized his dream of playing professional basketball by signing an Exhibition-10 deal with the Toronto Raptors this summer (June 27th).

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract with a specific Exhibit 10 attachment built into it and no other bonuses. Exhibit 10 attachments allow the NBA team to convert a player's one-year, minimum contract into a two-way contract but this must occur before the start of the regular season. These one-year deals are often non-guaranteed, which lets NBA teams waive the player and remove their cap hit from the team payroll.

After signing his deal in June, Perry was a member of Toronto's summer league team which played in Las Vegas from July 12-22.  In a total of 29 minutes of action in NBA summer league play, Perry scored 7 points.

Perry started his college career at Coffeyville where he was an NJCAA All-American while also being named the 2021 NJCAA Tournament MVP.  Perry scored 928 points as a Red Raven over his two years, 2019-20 and 2020-21.

After transferring to North Texas, Perry led the Eagles to the 2023 NIT Championship while earning the 2023 NIT Most Outstanding Player Award and being named the 2023 Conference USA Player of the Year.

With an added Covid year, Perry played this past season (2023-24) in Manhattan KS as a Kansas State Wildcat where he earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors.
