Red Ravens Win 2-1 vs Crowder, Coach Schicke Earns 100th Red Ravens Women's Victory

Neosho, MO - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Soccer Team traveled to Neosho Missouri, and earned a 2-1 victory over the Crowder College Roughriders.  With the victory, the Ravens improved their 2024 record to 1-7-3 on the season.  

In the victory, Red Raven head coach Jerrid Schicke earned his 100th victory as Coffeyville's Head Women's Soccer Coach.  Overall with the Red Ravens, Coach Shicke has a 100-86-8 women's record.

Against Crowder, Raven freshman Leticia Neves had a superb outing for Coffeyville netting both goals for the Ravens in the victory.  After an early goal by the Roughriders, Neves got the Ravens on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal at the ten-minute mark of the match to knot up the scoreboard.  Later in the first half, Neves again scored an unassisted goal to give the Ravens the 2-1 lead going into halftime.  Raven freshman Macy Lemke and sophomore Rosa Calabuig split time as goalkeepers for the Ravens saving 3 of 4 shots on goal by Crowder.  Coffeyville's second-half defense was up to the challenge and the Ravens ended the match with a 2-1 victory.

Coffeyville will return to action with a home KJCCC matchup against the Barton Cougars scheduled in Veterans Memorial Stadium for Saturday, October 5th.  Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
