#10 Red Raven Men's Basketball Defeat Labette 94-51, Move to 2-0 on Season

The #10 NJCAA ranked Coffeyville Community College Men's Basketball team defeated the Labette Cardinals 94-51.  The victory pushes the Ravens to an early 2-0 record on the season.

Behind a strong first half and balanced scoring, the Ravens easily dispatched the Cardinals of Labette.  From the opening tip-off, the Ravens scored at will and along with suffocating defense, Coffeyville quickly put the game away.  Coffeyville led at halftime 49-13 and at one time led the Cardinals by 50.

The Ravens' offense was supplied by balanced scoring with eight players scoring seven points or more.  Top Coffeyville players included:

Freshman Blaise Keita with 14 points (7-10 shooting) and seven rebounds.
Sophomore Tylor Perry with 13 points (5-8 shooting, 3-4 from 3 pt) and three assists.
Sophomore Kevaughn Ellis with 11 points (5-9 shooting).
Freshman Hayden Brittingham with 11 points (5-7 shooting) and 7 rebounds with 3 assists.
Freshman Markeith Browning with 9 points (4-8 shooting).
Sophomore Larry White with 8 points (3-7 shooting).
Freshman Love Bettis with 7 points (3-9 shooting) and 4 assists.
Freshman Noah Butler with 7 points (2-8 shooting)and 3 rebounds.

Next up for #10 Coffeyville will be a road game to #17 Hutchinson on Wednesday, January 27th at 7:30p.  This will be the first game in the KJCCC conference schedule.
