#4 Ravens Dominate NEO

Coffeyville Ravens men's basketball took on the NEO Norsemen picking up their third win of the regular season making them 3-0. Out of the gates it was a very fast game both teams firing shots at each other right from tip-off. The first half ended pretty close with a score of 33-28 Ravens on top, the Ravens shot 41.2% from the field and 45.5% from behind the arc compared to the Norseman's 33.3% from the field and 36.4% from behind the arc.

The Ravens came out after half time looking to close it out building a big lead and had the home crowd behind them the whole way. Stands were packed forcing students to have to stand courtside and they were in it the whole night even causing the Ravens a technical for being on the court after warning, but that didn't slow the Ravens down one bit, out scoring the Norsemen by 12 in the second half and shooting an outstanding 57.7% from the field and 66.7% from behind the arc and holding their opponent to just 40% from the field and 25% from the arc.

The Ravens closed the game out with a 76-59 end total. It was a all out team performance with 4 of their starters finishing with double figures in points (Tevin Brewer-13 pts, Casey Benton-17pts, Marvin Johnson-12pts, Manny Crump-12pts). The leading scorer for the Ravens was Casey Benton who shot 6/10 from the field and was ⅘ from beyond the arc finishing with a season high 17pts. The Normen's leading scorer was Ravel Moody finishing with 24pts and shot 7/13 from the field.

The Ravens look to increase their record to 4-0 Saturday Nov. 10 against Indian Hills CC at home @7pm. Come support GO RAVENS!
