The Coffeyville Community College men's basketball team defeated the Panthers of Neosho County 85-60 to advance into the Region VI Men's Basketball Tournament Semifinals.

In the Region VI semifinal round, the #6 seeded Red Ravens (20-12) will play the #2 seeded Barton Cougars (25-7) on Tuesday, March 7th at 5:00 pm in Hartman Arena in Park City Kansas.  Coffeyville and Barton split their two games on the year with each team winning on their home court.

The Red Ravens quarterfinal matchup against the Panthers of Neosho was never really that close with Coffeyville jumping out early with leads of 10-3 and 21-9 before posting an eleven point halftime lead of 37-26.

In the second half, Neosho scored the first four points of the half to cut the Raven lead to seven at 37-30.  However, the Raven reeled of a 12-2 run to extend the lead back up to 16 at 48-32.

Nine points was the closest Neosho was able to get to Coffeyville the rest of the way and the Red Ravens posted the 85-60 victory. 

The Red Ravens had four players in double figures including sophomore forward Tedrick Wolfe with a game high 23 points and 8 rebounds, freshmen guard Malik Keith (17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists), freshmen guard Mike Cubbage (15 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists) and freshmen forward Cedric Roland (13 points).
