Red Raven Men's Soccer and Crowder Roughriders Play to a 1-1 Tie

Coffeyville, Kan. - After an 11-0 victory over NEO in the first match of the season, it would be easy to anticipate some high scoring in the second game of the season for the Red Ravens.  That would not be the case as Coffeyville and the Crowder Roughriders played to a 1-1 tie.  With the tie, the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens Men's Soccer team moved to an overall record of 1-0-1.

Red Raven sophomore Paulo Diaz stayed hot, coming off a four-goal outing against NEO in the opener, scoring the Red Ravens' lone goal with an assist by sophomore Mario De La Fuente at the 14:45 mark of the first half.  Crowder tied the game early in the second half and the remainder of the match had both teams mounting multiple scoring opportunities but neither team could place the goal in the net.

The Ravens will return to action with their first road trip of the season on Wednesday, August 23rd as they travel to Enid Oklahoma to play the Northern Oklahoma College-Enid Jets.  Kick-off on Aug. 23rd is set for 6:00 pm in Enid.
