Balanced Scoring Leads Red Ravens Men’s Basketball to Victory over Neosho 88-77

The Coffeyville Community College men's basketball team traveled to Chanute Kansas and defeated the Neosho County Panthers 88-77.

The win improves Coffeyville's overall record to 9-3 and a 5-3 record in KJCCC conference play.

The story of this game was the Red Ravens fast start.  Unlike the previous few games where the Red Ravens came out slow to start the game, Coffeyville jumped out of the gate in this one, racing to a 19-3 lead just over eight minutes into the game.

The Red Ravens had a balanced scoring attack on the evening with six players in double figures.  Leading scorer for Coffeyville was freshmen guard TJ Washington (19 points) followed by freshmen guard Malik Keith (13 points), sophomore forward Jordan Taylor (13 points), sophomore Tedrick Wolfe (12 points and 12 rebounds), freshmen forward Cedric Roland (12 points), and sophomore forward Greg Poleon (10 points).

The Red Ravens will play next on Saturday, December 10th at home against Colby.  The game against Colby will be the Ravens last game until after the holiday break.  The game is set for an afternoon tip-off of 3:00 pm.
