The #1 Red Ravens were back in action again against the Trojans of Seminole State College. A well played match for the Ravens. They started off set one hot coming out and scoring the first 4. SSC would later take a time-out down 8-4. From there the girls would go on to score 9 strait before the Trojans could get another score on the board. The Ravens were just flat out hot in set one,with the help of some very good blocking the Ravens only let the Trojans of SSC score just 8 points in set one. Ravens win set 1, 25-8

In set two the girls keep their momentum going, taking the first point in set 2. Again they take the first 4 points in set 2. The Ravens get hot and stay hot, going up 12-3 , seemingly in the blink of an eye. The Trojans, showing some sign of fight in set 2 though, beating their point total in the previous set, but still down 19-9. CCC fighting back go up 22-11. Excellent all around play, would take them to win set 2, 25-14.

In set 3,the girls keep the matches trend going, taking the first 4 points of the set. Both teams go on to score 5 more, making the score 9-5. In set 3, it seemed like all I heard was " Kiiiill, NADDDYYY" in reference to #4 Adianez Reyes Rivera. Her kills would help her team take a 18-12 commanding lead over the Trojans. The Ravens go on to let SSC score only 3 more times for the remainder of the set, giving them the set and match, 25-15.

The #1 Red Ravens will be back in action again at home Wednesday, October 17, against the Cavaliers of Johnson County Community College
