Brewer Named NJCAA All-American

The awards keep coming for sophomore point guard Tevin Brewer.

Brewer was first selected as the KJCCC Player of the Year on the East. Recently he had also been named a KJCCC All-Region Selection. Now he has been named Third Team All-NJCAA.

Brewer, a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, came to the Ravens after averaging 27 points per game for Eastern Oklahoma State College in 2017-18. A captain on the floor, Brewer was solid on both sides of the court and a voice that could be heard pushing teammates to be their best. Brewer had an outstanding year statistically, he averaged 11.8 points per game, shot  45% from the field, 41.1% from behind the arc, 92.2% from the free throw line, and had four assist per game.

Brewer is the third consecutive point guard to be named All-American at Coffeyvile. The other two were TJ Washington and Darrion Strong.

Brewer is now the ninth All-American that has played under Coach Jay Herkelman in his 24 years at Coffeyville.
