Ravens Recognize Sophomores in 59-43 Defeat of Colby

Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Women's Basketball Team recognized their sophomores as they defeated the Trojans of Colby 59-43.  With the victory, the Red Ravens improved their 2023-24 record to 18-11 including a 13-10 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) matchups.  The 13-10 KJCCC record has Coffeyville fourth in the 13-team division one conference.

The first and third quarters are where the Red Ravens were able to control the game outscoring the Trojans 26-13 in those two quarters.  The Ravens outshot the Trojans 42% to 32%.  Coffeyville also outrebounded Colby 37-31 while racking up 21 assists to Colby's 7.

Coffeyville will end their regular season with a road game just up the road to the Independence Pirates on Wednesday, March 6th.  Game time in Indy is set for 5:30 p.m.

At the halftime of the Men's game, the Red Raven women's team recognized the nine sophomores on the team.  Those recognized were;
