Raven Shut Out Tigers; Schicke Gets 50th Win

The Coffeyville womens soccer team played at Cowley Community College on Saturday afternoon. The game started of slow with the ball going from end to end of the pitch however a goal would not be scored until the 33rd minute of the game. A floating ball from Defender Kelsie Moore would would find the feet of Cristine Kitaru who would slot the ball past the keeper to make it 1-0. The game would remain close until the 78 minute. Cheyenne Gardner would send a cross into the box which would once again find the feet of Cristine Kitaru who slotted the ball into the net to win the game 2-0.

The win on Saturday resulted in Coach Jerrid Schicke's 50th win for the Red Raven Womens Soccer Program since taking over in 2014. Congratulations to Coach Schicke on 50 wins and we look forward to you getting 50 more.

The Red Ravens are back in action on Wednesday at home for Sophomore night against Johnson County.
