Red Ravens Hit Four Home Runs in Split with OKWU JV

Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Softball team split a home doubleheader against the  Oklahoma Wesleyan University JV.  OKWU JV won the first game 14-4, but the Red Ravens rallied in the second game to take the 12-7 victory.  Overall the Red Ravens are 5-15 on the season but are an even 3-3 when competing at home.

In the first game, a trio of pitchers struggled to contain the bats of OKWU, allowing 14 runs. The Raven offense struggled as well, scoring 4 runs on 9 hits.  Also compounding their issues were the four errors committed by the defense.
