The Red Raven Softball Team hit the ground running in their first fall competition this past weekend.  The events featured the KC Classics, an organization out of the Kansas City area.  Composed of possible future Ravens, the KC Classics competed in situational play on the field to build game IQ and participate in types of training conducted by the Raven softball staff.  

The KC Classics were able to take advantage of the collegiate experience with a trip to support our CCC football team and finished the weekend with a doubleheader of competition and a question and answer session with the CCC staff and players.  

 

"We love getting to host organizations here in Coffeyville.  They are able to see firsthand the culture we are trying to create, the facilities, and the college itself.  I hope the Classics enjoyed their time on campus" Coach Meredith Smith exclaimed.

 

The Red Raven Softball Team will be back in action Sunday, Oct 9th, at 1 pm against the visiting organization, KC Rebels.
