West Monroe, LA - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Track and Field Teams competed at the 2024 NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by the University of Louisiana Monroe.  The Red Raven Men's Team placed seventh overall with 46 points and the Raven Women's team placed 29th with 5 points.

A top highlight for the Red Raven team was sophomore Trevor Gunzell (defending Indoor Shot Put Champion) adding another National title to his resume by winning the Outdoor Discus title with a throw of 58.89 meters (193'2").  Gunzell also added points to the team total with a second-place finish in the men's shot put with a toss of 18.50 meters (60'8.5").

The top 8 in each event qualify as All-Americans, those Red Ravens finishing in the top 8 included;

Jalia Bunn (SO) - 7th in Women's 100m with a time of 11.90 (11.72 in prelims)
Jonathan Crawford (SO) - 3rd in Men's 200m with a time of 20.84 (20.92 in prelims) and 4th in Men's 400m with a time of 46.27 (46.78 in prelims)
Kason Jones (SO) - 6th in Men 400m with a time of 46.40 (46.56 in prelims)
La'Darion Dudley (FR) - 7th in Men's Shot Put with a throw of 17.06 meters (55'11.75")
Jaylon Burke (FR) - 4th in Men's Triple Jump with a jump of 15.26 meters (50'.75")
Anthony Fuqua (SO) - 5th in Men's Triple Jump with a jump of 15.17 meters (49'9.25")
Jalia Bunn (SO), Royanah Farmer (FR), Jaiden Leighton (SO), & Linya Gedeon (FR) - 6th in Women's 4x100m relay with a time of 46.13 (46.17 prelims)
Travian Johnson (SO), Kason Jones (SO), Elijah Rowe (SO), & Jonathan Crawford (SO) - 6th in Men's 4x400m relay with a time of 3:10.07 (3:09.21 prelims)
