Nick Dobler was promoted to the Red Raven Head Football Coach in November of 2023.
 
Coach Dobler joined the Coffeyville staff in the Spring of 2020 as the Defensive Coordinator coaching the Linebackers.
 
As the Red Ravens Defensive Coordinator in 2022, Dobler led Coffeyville to the second-ranked defense in the KJCCC and the fourth-ranked in the NJCAA, only allowing 14.5 points per game.  Coach Dobler's defense helped the Red Ravens qualify for one of the first-ever NJCAA Semi-Final Playoff games and a final #5 NJCAA ranking in 2022.
 
In just his first season with the Red Ravens (Spring 2021), Dobler coached two linebackers to All-Conference honors. In Dobler’s second season (2021), he coached another three linebackers to All-Conference honors and in his third season (2022) he had another player earn All Conference honors.   In Dobler’s three seasons coaching the linebackers, he has coached a total of six linebackers to All-Conference honors.
 
Dobler came from Kilgore JC (TX) where he was the Defensive Coordinator for 8 seasons.  During his time at Kilgore, they won 3 SWJCFC Conference Championships (2012, 2018, 2019); 2 Region XIV Championships (2015, 2018); and played in 4 Bowl Games (2012, 2015, 2016, 2018).
 
Dobler created a standard of dominating defensive play against the nation’s top offenses.  He has coached an NJCAA Defense Player of Year, an SWJCFC Overall MVP, and 2 SWJCFC Defense MVP.  Dobler has also had 8 NJCAA All-Americans and 29 SWJCFC All-Conference Players.
 
As a player, Dobler was a 2-time KJCAA All-Conference player for Independence CC (KS) from 2006 and 2007 seasons.  After his sophomore year, he won the John C. Pittman Award for best male athlete. 
 
Dobler finished his collegiate career at Northeastern State University (OK) from the 2009-2010 seasons. He was a 2-time LSC All-Conference player along with All-Academic in 2010. His senior year, the team won the Lone Star North Division.
 
Dobler is originally from Topeka, KS where he graduated from Seaman High School (2006). Dobler and his wife Judy have 3 boys.
