Mark Wisner

Center (1985-86)

Mark Wisner grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas, and attended Pittsburg High School where he lettered in football and track. Mark was a member of the PHS State Football Championship Team is 1983, which went 12-0 that year. He received All-Conference and All-State honors as an offensive and defensive tackle.

After graduating high school in 1985, Mark attended Coffeyville Community College where he played as a guard and center. He received All-Conference honors that year and was voted “Outstanding Freshman.” In 1986, Mark played center for the Ravens and received All-Conference honors and was named a “Junior College All-American” at center. Mark also received the “President’s Trophy” at the team’s awards ceremony.

In 1987, Mark transferred to Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, where he started every game as a Mule and received All-Conference honors. He was an “Academic All-American” and graduated Cum Laude in 1989 with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology.

After graduation, Mark accepted a position with Dondlinger and Sons Construction, Inc., a general contractor in Wichita, Kansas. Mark has now been employed by Dondlinger for more than sixteen years and is currently a Project Superintendent, responsible for major bridge and heavy highway construction projects.

Mark lives in West Wichita with his wife Sharon and their two children, Alyssa and Andrew.
