Joe Stockton
Center (1982 & 1983)

 
Joe Stockton was born and raised in SouthEast Kansas. He is the son of Tom and Jane Stockton. Joe was the youngest of three brothers, including Jim and Jeff. His family settled in Coffeyville in 1971.
 
 As a child, Stockton attended school in Coffeyville and graduated from Field Kindley High School in 1982. While in high school, Joe was a two-sport letterman in both football and baseball. He was first-team All-conference his senior year in football at both offensive and defensive tackle positions. 
 
After high school, Joe attended Coffeyville Community College and was a member of the Red Raven Football Team in 1982 and 1983.  Stockton was on the team led by Head Coach Dick Foster. Through the two years Stockton was on the Raven team, Coffeyville posted a 21-2 record capped by the Red Ravens winning the 1983 NJCAA National Championship.  As a member of the 1983 National Championship team, Stockton was selected as an honorable mention at the center position for both NJCAA Football All-American and JC Gridwire.
 
Stockton finished his college football career playing under Dennis Franchione at Pittsburg State.
 
Stockton has worked his entire career in sales, and the past 10 years in automotive equipment. 
Stockton has two daughters, Shannon Stockton, and Abby Cooper. He is also blessed with two grandsons, Cash and Liam Cooper.
