Red Raven Football Hosts "Ladies Football 101"

Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Football team hosted their annual "Ladies Football 101" this past Thursday night (Aug 10th). This year marked the fourteenth year for the event.

About 65 participants gathered in the Student Union for dinner and talked football with 15 current Red Raven players and the current Red Raven coaching staff.

Head Red Raven coach Jeff Leiker was in attendance along with assistants Cody Oates, Nick Dobler, Dell Howard, DJ Lynn, and Rico Cherico.

The participants were shown what a football player wears along with how to form and break a huddle and the proper football warm-up. The 15 players in attendance answered many questions and prizes were drawn for a majority of the participants.

CCC football would like to thank all the donors who donated over $3700.00 worth of prizes for this event!
