Dallas, Texas - The Coffeyville Community College Men's and Women's Golf teams competed in their first tournament of the spring.  The Red Ravens teams competed in the 4-HIM tournament held at Luna Vista Golf Club in Dallas Texas on February 26th -28th.

Red Raven freshman Braden Smith won the tournament on the Men's side shooting a 3-round score of 219 to finish at +3 and four shots ahead of second place (223).  As a team, the Red Raven men's team earned a sixth-place finish.

For the Red Raven women, Red Raven sophomore Haylee Jernegan placed 3rd overall with a 2-round score of 187.  No team scores were kept on the women's side.

The golf teams will return to action later in March with the women teeing it up on March 22-24th at Mariah Hills Golf Course in Garden City Kansas and the men returning to action on March 26-28th at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan Kansas.
