Walter Johnson Park Rodeo Arena

The CCC practice arena is located at the Coffeyville Fairgrounds.  The arena hosts the PRCA sanctioned Interstate Rodeo and is an excellent facility for the rodeo team to utilize for practice.

Pumpkin Creek Equestrian Center

The Pumpkin Creek Equestrian Center (PCEC), less than 10 minutes from campus, is the primary facility for the rodeo team to board their horses.

Bring your fishing poles as this facility boarders Pumpkin Creek!

Also available at PCEC is a 60x120 indoor arena that the rodeo team turns to when the weather gets bad.

Equipment that cowboys/cowgirls can utilize at both the fairgrounds arena and the PCEC indoor arena include a Hot Heels Team Roping Steer, a Circle H Corporation’s Super Calf, “Lukky” the calf tying dummy, Steer Wrestling Steer Saver and the “Mighty-Broncy” bucking machine.

These pieces of equipment are used and endorsed by Speed Williams, J.D. Yates, Mike Johnson, Rope Myers, Lyle Sankey and others.

Students find that using this equipment helps with consistency and maintaining fundamentals while keeping their horses in top condition.
