Red Ravens With Season High 24 Turnovers in 78-70 Loss at Cloud County

Concordia, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Women's Basketball Team traveled to Concordia Kansas, and suffered a 78-70 loss to the Thunderbirds of Cloud County Community College.  With the loss, the Red Ravens' overall record falls to 13-7 including an 8-6 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) record.

Cloud County outscored the Ravens in each of the first three quarters which in combination with a season-high 24 turnovers from Coffeyville sealed the 78-70 victory for the Thunderbirds.  

Game leaders for Coffeyville included freshman forward Alexis Parker with 19 points and 6 rebounds, sophomore guard Bailey Layman with 12 points (4/8 from the 3-point line), and freshman guard Karys Washington with 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Coffeyville will return to action with a home matchup scheduled against the Tigers of Cowley College on Wednesday, January 31st.  Tip-off in Nellis Hall is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
