Red Raven Women Earn KJCCC East All-Conference Honors

The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) has announced their Annual All-Conference Awards and the Coffeyville Community College Women's Basketball Team is well represented.

Faith Simpson - KJCCC East Co-Most Valuable Player, KJCCC East First Team Selection

Red Raven sophomore center Faith Simpson, from Palisade Nebraska, was chosen a the KJCCC East Co-Most Valuable Player.  She will share the MVP award with Tamara Nard of Butler County Community College. 

On the season Simpson averaged 17.2 points (fourth in the KJCCC East) and 9.5 rebounds per game (third in KJCCC East) for the Ravens.  Simpson also led the KJCCC with an overall 54.4% shooting percentage.  In her Coffeyville career, Simpson has amassed 17 double-doubles.

KJCCC East Honorable Mention Selections - Kailyn Lay and Paige Scott

Red Raven sophomore point guard Kailyn Lay, from Frisco Texas, and freshman guard Paige Scott, from Blackwell Oklahoma, were both selected as Honorable Mention All-Conference selections.  Lay was second in the KJCCC with 107 assists on the season and Scott was eighth in the KJCCC with 46 made three-pointers.
