Ravens Lose First Quarter and Game Against Broncbusters

The Red Raven Women's basketball team lost this past Wednesday evening against the Garden City Broncbusters, 47-58.

The Ravens won quarters two through four by a score of 40-32 but simply could not make up the deficit they created after getting outscored 7-26 in the first quarter.  Add the four quarters together, and the sum for the Red Ravens equaled a 47-58 loss.

The loss moves the Red Ravens to 1-12 overall on the season and 1-5 in the KJCCC Eastern Conference.

Game leaders for the Ravens included freshman Lasheicka Joseph with 12 points and 9 rebounds and freshmen Brooklyn Wade and Riana Rangi-Brown both with 8 points each.  Freshmen Talima Harjo was the team leader in rebounds with 12.

The Red Ravens have one game left before the holiday break and it is a road contest on Saturday, December 15th.  The Lady Ravens will travel to Liberal Kansas to face the Seward County Community College Saints with a game time set for 6:00 pm.
