Red Raven Cross Country Competes at Bethel Invitational

This past Saturday, Sept 19th, the Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Cross Country Teams competed at the Bethel University Invitational in North Newton Kansas.

The women ran first with a mixture of community college and NAIA teams from around Kansas in attendance.  The women's race distance was a 5k (3.11 miles).

The top finisher for the Red Raven women was sophomore Brittany Reece placing 67th with a time of 21:53.  Rounding out Coffeyville's team was freshman Ashley Isle (86th, 23:09), freshman Shavell Riley (105th, 25:21), freshman Achai Arop (110th, 27:04), freshman Kadija Soumaoro (111th, 27:16), and freshman Avagay Morris (112th, 27:27).

The Red Raven women placed 14th as a team.

The men competed over a distance of 4 miles.

The top finisher for the Red Raven men was freshman Larson Hoggatt placing 74th with a time of 23:47 over the 4 miles.  Other Red Raven finishers included sophomore Raymond Bueno (76th, 23:49), sophomore Terrance Brown (113th, 27:02), freshman Zefeniah Edwards (115th, 27:24), and freshman Kaneal Cooper (119th, 28:28).

As a team, Coffeyville's men placed 14th.
