Men Fourth, Women Sixth at 2022 KJCCC East Indoor Track and Field Championships

Pittsburg, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Teams competed this past weekend at the 2022 Region VI/KJCCC Indoor Championships held at Pittsburg State University.  The Red Raven men's team placed seventh overall in Region VI and fourth in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) East Division while Coffeyville's women's team placed thirteenth in Region VI and sixth overall in the KJCCC East.

Red Raven Top Region VI/KJCCC East Conference Performers included;

Women's Weight Throw - 2nd KJCCC East Naliyah Landrum (14.60 meters)

Men's Weight Throw - 2nd Region VI/1st KJCCC East Dennis Ohene-Adu (16.10m) & 3rd Region VI/2nd KJCCC East Calvin Bostic (15.57m)

Men's Shot Put - 2nd Region VI/1st KJCCC East Dennis Ohene-Adu (17.58m)

Men's High Jump - 3rd KJCCC East Timothy Johnson (1.90m)

Men's Pole Vault - 3rd KJCCC East Will Ellis (3.68m)

Women's Long Jump - 2nd KJCCC East Tatiana Washington (5.31m) & 3rd KJCCC East Daylece Newsom (5.28m)

Men's Triple Jump - 1st Region VI/1st KJCCC East Garrian Betts (15.17m)

Women's 60m Dash - 3rd KJCCC East Avagay Morris (7.68)

Men's 60m Dash - 3rd Region VI/3rd KJCCC East Nolton Shelvin (6.73)

Men's 200m - 1st Region VI/1st KJCCC East Antoine Evans (21.18) & 3rd KJCCC East Dakari Charlton (21.49)

Men's 4x400m relay - 3rd KJCCC East Ireon Brown, Antoine Evans, Ashton Sanders, Dakari Charlton (3:20.24)

The Coffeyville Track and Field teams will wrap up their 2022 Indoor seasons competing at the 2022 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg Kansas on
March 4th and 5th.
