Coffeyville, Kan. -  Talk about opening the season with authority, the Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Soccer team absolutely crushed the NEO Norsmen 11-0 to open the 2023 season.  The Red Ravens opened the game by netting four goals in the first half and then came out in the second half and peddled down scoring a whopping seven goals in the second half for the 11-0 victory.

Red Raven sophomore Paulo Diaz in particular lit up the Norsmen as he scored the first three goals of the night for Coffeyville while scoring four goals overall.

In his first year as the head coach for Coffeyville, Steven Harrison was extremely upbeat, "It was nice to be able to start our regular season on a positive note. The guys were ready to play and get our season going. I knew once we got our first goal the players would relax and we could go from there. Paulo set the tone with a goal early and finished up the night with 4 so that was a great accomplishment for him. We will enjoy it for a bit and then get ready for our next game vs. Crowder on Saturday evening."
