Miami, Okla. -  The #8 NJCAA ranked Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Soccer Team traveled to Miami Oklahoma and came away with a dominating 7-0 victory over the NEO Norseman.  With the victory, the Red Ravens move to an overall 2-1 record on the season.

The scoring came quickly with the Ravens scoring three goals in the first half of the contest and four in the second half.

Goal scorers for Coffeyville included freshman Calvin Scholten who scored the first two goals of the match with assists by freshmen Joao Gustavo and Baraka Kania.  Freshman Hijs Hovius capped off the scoring in the first half with an assist by Scholten.  

The second half opened up with Gustavo putting one in the back of the net with an assist by freshman Ayoto Kaneki.  The fifth goal of the game by Coffeyville was scored by sophomore Jack Greenwood with an assist by Kaneki.  Baraka Kania got back into the action with a goal with an assist by sophomore Mark Mcdaid.  The final goal of the match by the Red Raven was an unassisted goal by Mcdaid.

The Red Ravens will return to action on Saturday, August 27 with a match against Hill College that will be played in El Dorado Kansas.  Game time in El Dorado is set for 1:00 pm.
