Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Coffeyville Community College Men's & Women's Golf Teams opened up their 2021 Fall season with a three-day match on September 6-8 held at the Southwestern Christian Fall Invite the Lake Hefner Golf Club in Oklahoma City.

The Red Raven Women's Team had three individual athletes compete.  The top female for the Red Ravens was freshman Emily Stockholm who shot a two-day total of 193 to place tied for 71st place.  Second on the squad for the Ravens was freshman Haylee Jernegan was a two-day total of 196 to place 73rd.  Sophomore Bailey Werner shot a 203 placing her 75th.

The Men's Team fielded a full team of five golfers and overall the Red Raven team placed 13th with a team score of 1001.  Individually, the men were led by freshman Talon Funk who shot a three-round score of 232 placing him tied for 51st.  Freshman Ty Peterson shot a three-day total of 239 placing him tied for 63rd.  Third on the Red Raven team was freshman Derek Johnson who shot a 263 and placed 72nd.  Freshman Charles Prewitt placed fourth on the team with a score of 267 placing tied for 74th.  Fifth on the team for the Ravens was freshman Dane Renfro with a score of 293 placing 76th.
