Red Ravens Lose 65-55 at Cloud County

Concordia, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Basketball Team lost a road Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) against the Thunderbirds of Cloud County 65-55.  With the loss, Coffeyville's overall record falls to 9-11 including a 5-9 record in KJCCC matchups.

Coffeyville struggled to shoot the ball against the Thunderbirds.  For the game, the Red Ravens shot 33% from the field and 27% from behind the 3-point arc.  In comparison, the Thunderbirds of Cloud County shot 42% and 41% from behind the arc.

Game leaders for Coffeyville included freshman guard Jahni Summers with 22 points, sophomore guard Cris Carroll with 15 points, and freshman guard Brian Griffith with 14 points.

Coffeyville will return to action this Wednesday, January 31st with a home matchup against the Tigers of Cowley College.  Tip-off in Nellis Hall is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
