Five Red Ravens Score in Double Figures as Ravens Defeat Pratt 114-82 to Advance to Region VI Semis

Coffeyville, Kan. - Some hot shooting and a balanced offensive attack allowed the Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Men's Basketball team to defeat the Pratt Beavers 114-82 and advance into the Region VI Tournament Semifinals.  With the victory, the Red Ravens improved their 2023 overall record to 24-7.

The Red Ravens can put the rock in the hole.  Against Pratt in the Region VI Quarterfinals, they proved just that.  Coffeyville shot 58% overall (41/70) in the game and a sizzling 60% (17/28) from behind the three-point line.  The 114 points scored as well as the 17 made three-pointers were the most in a game this year for Coffeyville.

All five of Coffeyville's starters scored in double figures.  Leading the way for the Ravens was freshman guard Landon Glasper who had 25 points followed by sophomore forward Jordan Wildy who notched 21 points as well as grabbing 8 rebounds.  Red Raven freshman guard Camian Shell had 16 points and 7 assists while sophomore Hayden Brittingham had 17 points.  Rounding out the starters was sophomore Nathan Johnson who pitched in 15 points.

The four remaining teams left in the Region VI Tournament are #1 seed Dodge City, #2 seed Coffeyville, #3 Barton, and #4 Butler.

The #2 seeded Coffeyville will play the #3 seed Barton County on Friday, March 10th in Wichita Kansas on the campus of Friends University (Garvey Center).  Tip-off for the semifinal is scheduled for 7:00 pm.  The winner of the Coffeyville/Barton semifinal will then play in the Championship game scheduled for 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 11th.
