Red Raven DB Bishop Fitzgerald Earns NJCAA Player of Week Honor

Red Raven sophomore defensive back Bishop Fitzgerald has earned the NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week honor for week #5.

Fitzgerald had eight total tackles and a pass breakup in the matchup against Independence.  The play of the game for the Red Ravens was created when Fitzgerald, late in the second quarter, forced a fumble at the Blue Dragon 15-yard line and Fitzgerald was then able to scoop and score to pull the Ravens within a point, 7-6, as well as give Coffeyville momentum heading into halftime.
