The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Baseball Team starting their spring break off slowly losing their first three games of the break to Johnson County.  However, Coffeyville rebounded nicely earning a victory in their last game vs Johnson and then sweeping a four-game home series against Highland to post a 5-3 record over the break.  The 5-3 spring break record puts the Red Raven's overall record for the 2022 season at 13-7 including a 5-3 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) record.

The first three games of the spring break were a struggle with Coffeyville losing both ends of a doubleheader at Johnson by the scores of 2-1 and 13-3.  The Johnson series then came to Coffeyville with the Red Ravens losing the front end of the doubleheader 7-6, however, Coffeyville responded to avoid the sweep with a 5-4 victory in the final game to close out the series. 

The second half of spring break saw the Red Ravens hosting the Scotties of Highland in a four-game series all hosted at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville.  Coffeyville jumped out quickly on the Scotties earning a quick two victories, 9-7 & 13-3, on the first day of the two-day series.  The second doubleheader in two days saw Coffeyville earn a giant 25-1 victory in the first game of the series and a 9-3 victory in the close-out game of the series to punctuate their spring break with the four-game sweep of Highland.

Coffeyville will return to action with a single 9-inning game scheduled at Butler on Tuesday, March 22nd with a 1:00 start time in El Dorado KS.
