Chase Rader arrived at Coffeyville Community College in 2012 after graduating from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School.

As a member of the Shawnee Mission NW High School baseball team, Rader accelerated on the baseball diamond earning All-State honors as both a pitcher and shortstop.

After high school, Rader made the decision to follow baseball at Coffeyville Community College and play for the Red Ravens. Rader had an immediate impact as a freshman for the Red Ravens earning a 2013 Second Team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) East selection at the first base position. As a freshman for Coffeyville, Radar hit .310 overall with five home runs and 33 RBIs. Rader also amassed 42 stolen bases his freshman year with that number ranking him third in the NJCAA for the season.

Rader improved on his stellar freshman season as a sophomore in 2014. As a Red Raven sophomore, Rader was asked by the coaching staff to move to third base. As a sophomore, Rader was selected as the Most Valuable Player in the KJCCC East as well as first-team All-KJCCC and first-team All-Region VI at the third base position. Rader capped off his 2014 sophomore season by earning an NJCAA First Team All-American selection. As a sophomore for the Red Ravens, Rader clipped a .444 batting average while driving in 14 home runs and 53 RBIs. In 2014 Rader ranked first in the NJCAA with 83 runs, 166 total bases, and second with 47 stolen bases. When Rader graduated from CCC, he was the holder of six Red Raven season records including home runs (14), hits (96), runs (83), and stolen bases (47). In the 2014 MLB draft, Rader was selected in the 16th round by the Detroit Tigers.

After CCC, Rader moved to Wichita State University for the 2015 and 2016 collegiate baseball seasons. While a Shocker, Rader hit 10 home runs and batted .265 over two injury-filled seasons. After his playing time with WSU, Rader then served the Shockers as a baseball intern strength and conditioning coach in 2017 and 2018. Rader was able to join the Arizona Diamondbacks in spring training as a free agent invite in 2017.

Rader currently resides back in his hometown of Shawnee, Kansas where he works at a world-wide baseball academy, D-Bat KC. While with D-Bat Rader has been recognized as one of their top instructors/coaches
