Michelle Heimerman came to Coffeyville Community College after graduating from Campus High School in Haysville, Kansas in 1993. She was a three-sport athlete and loved staying busy. She came to Coffeyville on a volleyball scholarship. While at Coffeyville she was a major asset to the team with being the setter and middle hitter. She ended her season being named to the All-Jayhawk Conference 2nd Team. 
 
While attending CCC she was a part of the Marching band both years as the twirler she performed for the crowds at the football and basketball games with her one, two and three baton tricks. The crowd always loved it when she did fire for football halftime. She traveled with the band to help cheer on the Raven football team in St. George Utah for the Dixie Rotary Bowl game in 1993. 
 
She also was a part of the track & field team while throwing the Shot, Discus and Hammer for the Red Ravens. While making it to Nationals in the Hammer throw her sophomore year and becoming an All American by placing 7th and capturing the school record for the Ravens which she held till 2010.
 
After Coffeyville Michelle was recruited by Missouri Southern University to throw for the lions. She was a two time All American in the Hammer throw for them and held the record till 2010 as well for them. She graduated with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Minor in Sociology and Juvenile Justice while keeping a GPA of 3.5.  
 
After college, she went on to become a Juvenile Officer for the State of Missouri for 16 years helping the kids of the 39th Circuit. She also helped develop the juvenile drug court for Stone County to help provide for the young children of today. She recently made a change of pace to being a victim advocate for the Barry County Prosecutor’s office in Cassville and loves to help serve the victims. When time allows she still helps a few local high school students learn the basics of throwing the shot and discus and loves to be able to go and watch her brother’s athletes perform when they make it close to this area as her brother is the head Track and Field Coach for the Northwestern State Demon’s in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Michelle also loves to spend as much time as possible out on Table Rock Lake where she lives.
