The 2002-2003 Red Ravens Cheer Team, under the direction of Head Coach Gerri Chandler, brought home the UCA College National Cheerleading Championship in January 2003.  The team competed against 13 other colleges for the title at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.  The team qualified for the national competition by submitting a video that included a cheer, chant, stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, tumbling, and a crowd highlight section.  Based on the video, CCC qualified for Nationals and was ranked 5th in the nation.  However, after the semi-final round, the Ravens were seated in first place.  With a near-perfect routine in the final round, the CCC Cheer team captured the title and brought the National Championship trophy home to Coffeyville.
