Lady Ravens Fall Short to NEO

The Lady Ravens took on the NEO Lady Norse falling short making it their third loss of the season. The Ravens got off to a slow start finishing the first quarter down 16-5 but turned it on in the second quarter scoring more than double the points they did in the first finishing the half with 16 points but were down 19 points with the Lady Norse 35 point first half. The Ravens shot 22.7 % from the field and 20% form the arc compared to the Norse's 55.6% from the field and 44.4% from the arc.

In the second half the Ravens played better coming out locked in trying to force a come back. In the third quarter they scored 14 points behind the Normans 18 points. In the 4th and final quarter the Lady Ravens out scored the Lady Norse by 6 with a game high 20 points in the quarter forcing the Norse to a game low 14 points in the quarter. The Ravens fought hard but came up short with a final score of 67-50.

The leading scorer for the Ravens was forward Chesney Downing leading the team with 14 points and she shot 6/8 from the field. The leading scorer for the Norse was Bethey Mununga with 17 points and she shot 7/9 from the field.
