On a beautiful late August night, the Coffeyville Red Ravens Men's soccer team followed up their first road win to start of the season with a 2-1 victory against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. In the home opener it was freshman Seun Koya, who scored a direct free-kick goal midway through the first half. The Red Ravens took the 1-0 lead into the half and were able to add to their lead only a few minutes after the 2nd half started, when freshman Guilherme Bittencourt scored a header off a corner kick from fellow freshman Noriel Meneses. In the 76th minute NEO was able to put a ball past sophomore goalkeeper Felipe Domingos, who recorded 4 saves. Nevertheless, the Red Ravens were able to defend the 2-1 lead and earn their 2nd victory of the season.
