Melissa Harrison will be back taking over as the Director of the Red Raven Spirit Squads in the spring of 2025.  

Coach Harrison has coached college cheer and dance for 10+ years at the community college and university levels.  She has former athletes who have gone on to cheer/dance at Oklahoma State, Pittsburg State, Missouri Southern, Avila University, and Missouri State as well as other schools.

When talking about the Red Raven spirit squads, Coach Harrison said "I always like to have the athletes set individual and team goals at the beginning of each year.  I am excited to see as a group what we want to accomplish this year."

Coach Harrison grew up coaching and competing in gymnastics. She has a Bachelor's in Mass Communications from the University of Central Missouri where she was a Mulekicker (dance team name) and a Master's in Communications Management from Webster University.
