Biography:

In November of 2019, Red Raven Athletic Director Jeff Leiker agreed to again take over the helm of the Red Raven Football program.
 
In coach Leiker’s first season back, which happened to coincide with an unusual spring 2020 covid season, he led the Red Ravens to a 3-3 record. 
 
In 2021, after being picked fifth in the KJCCC preseason ranking, Coach Leiker led the 2021 Red Raven Football Team to a regular season record of 6-1 and the KJCCC Regular Season Championship.  The Ravens ended the season with a 6-3 overall record, losing to Butler in the KJCCC Playoffs and also losing to Tyler Junior College 28-7 in the TIPS-CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl.  Coach Leiker was named the KJCCC Football Coach of the Year in 2021.
  
Coach Leiker assumed Coffeyville’s Athletic Director’s position in November 2007.  Prior to becoming Athletic Director, he was the head coach of the Red Raven football program for a total of 11 years.
 
Coach Leiker's coaching legacy at CCC spans a decade on the football field, boasting an impressive overall record of 76-40 (.660 win percentage) during the periods 2001-2007 and 2020-2023. Notable highlights include leading the 2022 Red Raven Football Team to an 8-3 overall record, earning a coveted spot in the inaugural NJCAA Final Four Playoff, and concluding the season with a #5 NJCAA ranking.

Under Coach Leiker's stewardship, the Red Ravens experienced a golden era, participating in six consecutive bowl games from 2001-2006, with three victories. The pinnacle came in 2004 with a #3 national ranking, a 10-2 record, and the triumph of the Valley of the Sun Bowl Championship.

Coach Leiker has a BS degree from Washburn University and an MS degree from the University of Tennessee. Leiker served as Head Football Coach at Fort Hays State University from 1998 to 2000. Leiker has been an assistant coach at Missouri Western, Butler County Community College, Hutchinson Community College, and New Mexico State University. He also has served as the Head Football Coach at Garden City Community College where his teams earned conference championships in 1992 and 1994. 
 
Jeff was inducted into the NJCAA Football of Fame in 2010. He is also a member of the CCC Lettermen’s Hall of Fame.
 
Jeff is married to the former Jennifer Kreller and they have a son, Ryan, and a daughter, Allison.
