
Winfield, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Women's Volleyball Team earned a welcomed victory with a 3-0 sweep of the Southwestern College JV. With the victory, the Red Ravens improved their overall record to 7-15 on the season.
Coffeyville won the first two sets with 25-20 scores while taking the third set 25-10.
Coffeyville sophomore Ashlyn Nelson led the Ravens with 10 kills and 5 digs followed by freshman Ndia Kalu, sophomore Nadazia Simien, and sophomore Daetyn Bogle all with 4 kills each. Red Raven sophomore Briona Patterson and freshman Ja'Nae Johns both flashed the defense with 12 digs each.
Coffeyville returns to action with a home match against the #2 NJCAA-ranked Johnson County Cavaliers on Wednesday, October 2nd. First-serve in Nellis Gymnasium is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
