The honors keep rolling in for the 2018 National Championship Volleyball team. Coffeyville had three players honored on Tuesday night. Dekyra Dennis, Seliann Conception, and Adianez Reyes Rivera were name First Team All-Americans.
Adianez Reyes a Sophomore from Carolina, Puerto Rico lead the nation and 1st on our team and the KJCCC with 730 kills, She was first in the Nation in Kills per set = 5.75 2nd in the Nation Hitting percentage .384. Nani also lead our team in digs with 436 and she gave us 81 blocks with 822 total points on the 2018-19 season. She is well deserving of this award and all the accolades she has received. Nani was also Named to the AVCA 1st Team All- American List. This award is split between all Divisions I, II, III
Seliann Concepcion (Seli) a Freshman from Bayamon, Puerto Rico was a complete player for the Ravens all season. As soon as you seen her go to the service line the opposing Coach was getting up to use a timeout! She lead our team in Aces and Aces per set. She also had 365 kills which her made her 2nd on the team in kills and 380 digs. Her serve was known as one of the best in the entire country. Seli, was also Named to the AVCA 1st Team All- American List. This award is split between all Divisions I, II, II
Dekyra Dennis, (DK) the leader and backbone of the court. She is sometimes looked passed because she is not the crowd pleaser on the court but the one setting up those big Booms! Without her we are just an ok team! She is a Sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee and is known as one of the most consistent players all year having only eight errors and 301 digs. DK lead our team and the Nation in assist per set with 11.5 Imagine having a point guard on your basketball team averaging 11 dimes a game. You wouldn’t lose many games. Dekyra also had a total of 1465 assist which blows our Assist board at CC
