The CCC Women's Volleyball team had a full slate of games this week and proved again that they are earning their #1 ranking. The week started Tuesday against conference opponent Kansas City Kansas CC on the road, where the Ravens swept them in straight sets. Then Ottawa JV came to Coffeyville where the Red Ravens also swept them in straight sets.
The Volleyball team then hosted their anual Coffeyville CC Tournament, which hosted five other teams. The first test of the tournament came Friday against NEO where Coffeyville lost their first set. They quickly rebounded and won the following three sets to take the match. Later that day they faced off against Montgomery County rival Independence CC where they swept them in straight sets. Coffeyville then faced Metropolitan CC and Ottawa JV on Saturday and swept both teams in straight sets leaving them at 6-0 throughout the week.
The CCC Women's Volleyball team will be back in action at home Wednesday September 12th against Hesston College.
