The Red Raven Volleyball team swept Grand Rapids 3-0 in their first round matchup at the NJCAA National Div II Volleyball Championship in Charleston West Virginia.
The Red Ravens came out and won a close first set 25-23. The Red Ravens pulled away in the second set with a 25-18 victory and battled back from an early set deficit to win the third set 25-21.
With the victory, the #5 seeded Red Ravens (38-1) will march into the second round of the tournament to face the #4 seeded Catawba Valley Red Hawks (35-5). First serve in the match is scheduled for today, November 17th at 6:30 pm. central time.
