Red Raven Women Fish 12th in NJCAA Outdoors

In Head Coach Craig Perry's final track meet, the team did not disappoint in Hobbs, New Mexico. "I couldn't have been more proud of how our kids competed," said Coach Perry. "I had multiple D1 scouts tell me that this is one of the most competitive track meets they have ever seen at the junior college level." Brooklynne Wilson was able to pull in two All-American honors by finishing 4th in the Discus Throw (45.75m) and 7th in the Hammer Toss (49.38m). The Red Raven Women finished 12th overall in Hobbs, scoring a total of 18 national points.

Other highlights for the meet included:

The 4x100 team ran by Heaven Barnes, Talyssa Gatlin, Aisha Cobb, and Azyairah Griffin finished 5th overall with a run of 47.15 seconds.

Kichauna West jumped 11.81m in the Triple Jump, which was good for 5th place.

Nu’uausala Tuilefano finished 6th in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.92m.
