Women's Soccer moves to 3rd in KJCCC East!

The Coffeyville Community College women's soccer team had a good week, winning 2 out of 3 and moving to third in the KJCCC East.

First up was a home match on Wednesday, September 14th, against Kansas City Kansas Community College.  The Red Ravens earned the close victory 1-0.  The lone score in the game was scored by Red Raven freshmen Andrea Comper, from France.  Comper scored in the 89th minute with an assist by sophomore Mia Her from Olathe Kansas.  Coffeyville goalie, freshmen Amy Epp from Mission Kansas, recorded the shutout with 3 saves.The full box score can be found HERE!

On Saturday, September 20th, the Red Ravens played the Red Devils of Allen County.  In a close double overtime game, Coffeyville lost 1-2.  The Ravens goal was scored on an unassisted goal by sophomore Val Stuerman, from Shawnee Kansas, at the 13th minute mark of the first half.  The Red Devils tied the game in the 81st minute of the second half and scored the winning goal at the 104th minute in double overtime.  The full box score can be found HERE!

Coffeyville traveled to Arkansas City Kansas on Tuesday, Sept 20th to take on the Cowley County Tigers.  The Ravens won going away, 2-0.  Mia Her scored the first goal of the game at the 28th minute of the first half and Andrea Comper scored at the 68th minute of the second half on a penalty kick.  Coffeyville's Amy Epp recorded the shutout in goal with 4 saves.  The full box score can be found HERE!

Coffeyville is currently 4-3-1 overall on the season and are currently third in the KJCCC East with a 3-2 conference record.
