Coffeyville, Kan. - The Coffeyville Community College Women's Basketball Team opened their 2021-22 season with an 80-23 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan JV.
The Lady Ravens thoroughly trounced the JV Eagles of Oklahoma Wesleyan, jumping out to a 20-2 lead after one quarter and never looking back. The Ravens shot 41% for the game overall while holding OKWU JV to only 15%.
Thirteen of the fifteen rostered players for the Ravens scored in the game. Top Raven players included Amiya Josey with 11 points, Faith Simpson with 8 points and 9 rebounds, and Nakia Cullom and Jordynn Conner both with 8 points.
Coffeyville will return to action this Friday, November 5th with a game at the Indy Classic against Sterling College JV. That game is scheduled for a 5:00 pm tipoff.
