The Red Raven Women's Basketball Team traveled to Great Bend Kansas and lost a tightly contested game against the Barton Cougars 69-66.
The loss puts Coffeyville's overall record at 11-2 and 1-2 in KJCCC play.
In the close game, the Red Ravens seemed to be playing from behind the entire game staying 2-3 points down for the majority of the game. Coffeyville could simply not break over the top and take the lead. The largest lead in the game for Barton was 6 points.
Sophomore Alana Kramer led the scoring for the Red Ravens with 13 points combined with freshman Tynica Gilmore's team-leading 11 rebounds.
Next up for the Red Ravens will be a home matchup against the Pratt Beavers. Game time is set for Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 pm in Nellis Hall.
