The Coffeyville Community College women's basketball team traveled to Iola Kansas and defeated the Red Devils of Allen County 81-62.
The victory moves the Red Raven's overall record to 12-5 and 11-3 in the KJCCC conference standings. In the fourteen team Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference division one standings, the 11-3 conference record places Coffeyville in third place place behind Hutchinson (13-1) and Seward (13-1). The Red Ravens are currently on a seven game winning streak.
Statistical leaders for the Red Ravens in the victory over Allen included sophomore guard Alanie Fisher (21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists), sophomore guard Patriece Dodson (11 points), freshmen forward Alexis Wooden (10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists) and freshmen forward Sky Jasper (10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists).
The Red Ravens will stay on the road with their next game scheduled for Saturday, January 21st at Independence to take on the Pirates. Tip-off in Independence is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
