Coffeyville, Kan. - In their 2024 home opener, The Coffeyville Community College Red Raven Softball Team welcomed in the Tigers of Cowley College for an afternoon doubleheader. The Red Ravens could not secure a victory and lost both ends of the doubleheader. With the two losses, the Red Ravens' overall 2024 season record falls to 1-15 including an 0-2 record in KJCCC matchups.
Game #1 - 12-2 Loss
In a 12-2 loss, the Red Ravens had a bright spot as freshman right fielder Alyssa Santana poked a 2-run home run in the fourth inning to get the Ravens on the board.

Game #2 - 4-3 Loss
The Red Ravens gave the Tigers a scare in the second game as they jumped out to the lead in the third inning as sophomore shortstop Adrianna Abrantes pounded a 3-run homerun to give Coffeyville a 3-0 lead through three innings. Cowley inched closer scoring a run in the sixth to pull within 3-1 and then scored 3 runs in the seventh to take a 4-3 lead over the Ravens to the bottom of the seventh. Coffeyville was not able to score in the bottom of the seventh and lost a close one 4-3 to Cowley.
