Harrison, Ark. - The Ravens came out on the attack versus the North Arkansas Pioneers.
Game #1 - Ravens 5 North Arkansas 4
In game one, the Ravens scored five runs on 10 hits e route to a 5-4 victory. Justina Raye led the way in the circle throwing 5 1/3 innings. She struck out seven while walking four. Jade Jimboy stole the win by driving in the winning run in the top of the seventh and throwing 1 2/3 innings of relief. Summer McAlister was three of four at the plate, scoring two runs and driving in another.
Game #2 - Ravens 7 North Arkansas 6
Joe Airington toed the slab in game two for the Ravens. She scattered seven hit across 5 1/3 innings while striking out five with no walks. Grace Batdorf led the Ravens' offensive with a 4-4 performance. Batsdorf scored three runs and drove in two more. Airington and McAlister contributed two hits a piece.
All in all, it was a much better showing for the Ravens. Much improved defense and two-strike hitting allowed them to keep pressure on the Pioneers.
